History of turniton support for primary schools

Turn IT On was started in 2003 by our director Tom Welch.  Tom had previously taught in 2 primary schools where a substantial amount of money had been spent on IT hardware and software.  However that equipment was very often sitting under dust covers not being used.  The aim of Turn IT On has always been, and is still now, to ensure that schools get value for money from their ICT equipment.   We do this by employing fantastic people to deliver technical support, curriculum support, classroom teaching, SIMS/FMS support and much more.

In 2005 we were up to 5 staff and took on our first office. By 2009 we had 25 staff and started supporting schools in London for the first time.

2011 and 2012 has been our busiest ever time.  In addition to our offices in London and Oxfordshire we opened our office in Buckinghamshire. From there we provide SIMS/FMS support for schools.

Turn IT On now employs of team of 40 great people.  The aim of all of us is to provide a support service we can be proud of and to continue to build a company that we can all be proud of.  We rarely advertise, our growth has come through word of mouth and by our focus on delivering great service.
