SIMS and FMS Support
We offer a professional and friendly service delivered by staff who have an excellent understanding of primary schools. Our SIMS team are very experienced and have supported SIMS/FMS in schools for many years. We are a Capita SIMS SQL Technical Partner and currently provide SIMS/FMS Support to over 60 schools in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes
Turn IT on offers a complete SIMS/FMS Support service which can be tailored for individual schools depending on the needs of staff but includes:
Telephone and Remote Support
Turn IT On has a dedicated Service Desk which operates during office hours (during both term time and school holidays). Support calls can be raised by phone or by email and will be dealt with professionally by trained and experienced staff within the terms of a Service Level Agreement. There is no limit to the amount of telephone and remote support available to your school. Support will be provided for SIMS.net and FMS incorporating the following key areas:
Guidance on Statutory Returns and End of Year Procedures
Working in collaboration with the DFE and Capita, Turn IT On’s services include an advisory service for statutory returns and end of year procedures. We help your school meet each deadline in a timely fashion. The guidance offered includes documentation and scheduled training is also available.
Capita Upgrades and Patches
We test all Capita Main Releases and Updates before they are installed onto your system. There are currently 3 Main Releases and 3 Updates released each year.
Private Fund Manager (PFM)
We provide full support for PFM software where this is required.
In addition to the services listed above, we are offering a new “Workspace” support service. This innovative and flexible service provides small group training, workshops and one-to-one consultancy in our dedicated workspace. The workspace will be at our offices and allow staff to work on their own data away from the school environment supported by our expert staff.
