Curriculum Network Support...

Our curriculum support service is delivered through a series of regular and friendly visits, by the same person on the same day of the week.  We hope that a school’s  consultant will become part of the school team.

We know the most important factor in our support service is the person that visits the school on a regular basis.  For this reason we choose our consultants very carefully.  Over 40% of our consultants have been teachers and we think this gives us an excellent understanding of the primary school environment.  In addition, all of our staff attend regular training sessions, both on the technical aspects of our work as well as the curriculum aspects.

As a company, we have good links with Microsoft, RM, Capita and others which means that we are very aware of what is on the horizon in terms of ICT in schools.  We have a newsletter which updates schools to this effect.

Our consultants also have the backup and expertise of 40 other members of staff.  This gives us a very large bank of shared knowledge allowing us to solve issues much more quickly and efficiently and making sure that the school is not reliant on just one person.

As well as your regular visits schools have free access to our support team which runs 52 weeks of the year.  We have the option to work remotely on issues, but can also come out in an emergency to site if required - including in the holidays.

We use an online support portal for logging all issues.  The benefits of this system are that whoever logged the issue will get direct email updates as to progress towards a resolution. In addition to this it means that the school has a complete record of all the issues logged across the year and how long they take to resolve.  This can be presented to governors and other interested parties.  The support portal has other benefits that are all aimed at ensuring good communication between the school and Turn IT on.
