Training and Development opportunities include:
Mandatory training is provided to ensure our staff work safely and are compliant with both health & safety and safeguarding legislation.
In-house bespoke technical training
ICT consultants are provided with technical training in a variety of areas throughout a consultants journey at turn IT on.
External technical training
We provide opportunities for courses through external providers where suitable, such as Aruba.
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessments (MBTI)
Our Head of HR & Finance is a qualified MBTI practitioner. MBTI Step I is a powerful, versatile personality type assessment that provides the foundations for a deep understanding of personal motivations and group interactions. It can be applied to multiple personal and business issues, and revisited over time as new challenges arise.
We use this tool for the self-development of individuals in one-on-one feedback sessions and in team sessions to help teams to develop and communicate.
On the job shadowing
Employees have the opportunity to shadow other roles across turn IT on, both as a new starter for learning the role, an opportunity for current employees to learn from other experts within the company and for progression opportunities.
Team Managers have regulaar in house training on areas such as Health and Safety, HR and well-being.
