I’m fed up with wasting time!
It can be a common scenario in schools. A SIMS/FMS deadline is looming. The school finance officer has a small SIMS query, the answer to which will enable her to complete and submit the budget/summer census/KS returns/pupil data.
She has, however, spent the last thirty minutes having her time wasted by call centre operators that don’t know the answer and keep transferring her. At the same time she has tried Googling the query and has found a YouTube demonstration: unhelpfully in Cantonese.
I (slightly) exaggerate. But we do understand the great pressure of work on finance staff and how valuable their time is. We also understand how utterly frustrating it can be when something as trivial as a small software query holds up something as crucial as submitting the school budget. That’s why our complete range of ICT support to schools includes a Capita Accredited SIMS/FMS support service.
Our dedicated SIMS/FMS consultants are available for unlimited remote and technical support. We also provide a diary of free termly training sessions and offer a free workspace where our consultants are on hand to support attendees with work.
We help over 150 schools save time on SIMS, enabling them to use it as productively as possible. Our schools agree: the comments below are from School Business Managers Carol Carney and Sue Hurst who work at Lewknor Primary School and Manor Farm Community Infant School, respectively.
“I would find my job much harder to do without their care and support.”
“Nothing is ever a problem and they always know the answer!”
“Turn IT On have already thought about what I need to know, often before I realise it.”
“I consider them to be the John Lewis and Waitrose of the IT world.”
There are plenty more comments about our SIMS service here. We hope they give you an idea as to how we help schools and the standards we strive to uphold.
