Broadband for Schools

Turn IT On can provide any school with fast and cost effective broadband. We partner with EXA networks to supply an uncongested, fully filtered and firewalled educational broadband service.

Together with EXA networks we supply broadband to over 150 schools in the South East, and this is growing.

Our unique experience in primary schools enable us to carefully project manage the installation and offer on-going support with a personal service.

If you would like a quote for broadband for your school, drop us a line and we can test your line to see what speed your school could receive.

The filtering and firewall is included. SurfProtect is Exa Network’s content filtering system. Designed with the schools in mind it meets all DFE requirements. EXA are also working with the DFE on the new child safety regulations.

Filtering Features

•             No site or user licence

•             FREE with broadband connection

•             Easy to use control panel

•             Flexible filtering policies

•             IP based user filtering or potential to ICAP through Active Directory

•             Nothing to download or install

•             Real time classification of unknown addresses

The surf protect system is very simple to administer.  Changes are real time.  We leave a document at the school post installation detailing the process and will train or amend from our helpdesk if the school prefer Turn IT On to manage.

We have one point of contact for fault reporting which is our service desk.
