Microsoft Office apps on iPads

Microsoft recently released their Office apps for iPads, rentals of which have seen them shoot to the top of the App store sales charts. The apps, for Word, Excel and Powerpoint, give users access to a limited version of the programs on their tablet and have received mixed reviews from their users.

Here is Microsoft’s official video demonstrating the apps’ benefits:

We anticipate the wide use of these apps in an education environment but wonder whether the file storage restrictions will be an issue.
